Ha, finally something ticked me off enough so I’m posting on this blog. I knew this would happen sooner or later.
First off, big thanks to all of my 349 fans who kept reminding me about this blog’s existence by posting spam comments to my one post. This one’s for you guys!
If you’re like me, Santa didn’t come in 2009. He’s coming on January 5th and bringing a bagful of Nexus One phones courtesy of Google. Clearly, even elves have a price, as we already know pretty much everything about the device. And once again, as we did with G1, and with MyTouch, and with Droid, and many others, the interweb asks: “Does it have more fart apps than times I farted last year, and will it load them faster than iPhone?”.
Time for my $.05. If you had experience with both, and think one is still a better device / system than the other, well then you figured it out – it is! What’s happening right now reminds me of the PC-versus-Console debate amongst gamers. So the way I see it, bottomline is this.
Either you want a simple, robust device that will successfully perform the three-to-five tasks you find yourself in need of being able to perform anytime, anywhere. Or, you want a complex device, that while requiring more ‘maintenance’, comes with great freedom for how you’re going to use it.
Cellphone market is not a there-can-be-only-one universe.
